The beauty of a multi-day Wedding

Published on 1 December 2021 in Marti's blog

We’ve lost count of the number of times we’ve heard the bride and groom say, “It’s over before you know it!” But, in this case, our couple found the solution … to prolong their special day into a luxurious multi day destination wedding celebration. And that’s exactly what we realized for our charming US newlyweds, Kyle and Andrea. The couple’s closest friends and family circled the globe from every direction to celebrate with them in Itria Valley, Puglia.

Extraordinarily elegant and hopelessly romantic, this unforgettable five-day celebration was planned and styled to perfection, from the welcome cocktail on the first day to the elegant wedding ceremony, to end with the last day unformal pizza party.

The location chosen for this experience was an historical villa surrounded by trulli houses, with a big pool and gardens to host all the events masterfully, dedicating the most proper area to each activity.

This couple loves bike riding, so we arranged several bike tours for guests wishing to discover the amazing countryside and nearby villages on the second and third day, offering shuttle service as alternative for guests not fond of cycling.

A cultural afternoon was arranged on the second day, with possibility for the guests to interact with the Apulian expert, who introduced local history, culture, traditions and curiosities! The first formal dinner followed this event.

The guests were involved in a local wine and olive oil tasting on the third day, with possibility to be guided through the food and wine pairing. We are sure this experience was precious for them, since the tips given from the oenologist will be remembered from the guests once at home to be applied with friends and family!! Nothing best than a barbecue dinner paired with local stunning wines to end the day!

A pasta making class is the real “must have” during a stay in Puglia, so we hired a couple of chefs setting tables with the typical wooden boards, flour, water and plenty of enthusiasm to teach the guests how making the perfect “orecchiette”. The lesson was a real success and the results of the guests’ hard work were boiled and seasoned to be eaten immediately after!!

Top excitement was reach on the wedding day, on day 4, begun with a relaxing yoga session under the warm October sun, and smoothly proceeded with an outdoor ceremony in the pine wood, that was followed by a typical Apulian starters show cooking and a seated formal dinner served in a big horseshoe table finely decorated with romantic wooden chandeliers and long runners of green olive and white floral touches.

Dancing went on until late night, with no rush to wake up on the following morning, the only one without activities!! Late brunch and pizza in the afternoon were the best way to close this incredible wedding.

Count on us if you are dreaming of a multi-day wedding celebration, we will create something special, fully representative of your personalities!
