“As Americans planning a wedding in southern Italy, we could not have asked for a more caring, thoughtful, friendly, and reassuring wedding planner in Marti and her wonderful team. We selected Marti because of her knowledge of local vendors and customs and got so much more – Marti went out of her way to get to know us personally and what mattered most to us for our special day. My wife is incredibly Type-A and plans international events for her job. Marti brought a calm, measured, and relaxed approach to the entire process. Marti and her team understood the aesthetics of weddings at masseria venues and were able to provide small, nuanced details that made the entire event feel custom and authentic.
Logistically, Marti’s services extended beyond the scope of just the wedding day. She assisted us in planning our welcome dinner and a beach day at a local lido. She made coordinating with 50+ international guests simpler by managing all payments for the accommodations. This removed a ton of work on our part so that we could focus on the more important details of the day.
One small example of her going above and beyond and recognizing the importance of details: our instructions for the seating charts were to tie the cards to olive oil bottles from the masseria. The end result exceeded our expectations – on their own, Marti and her team incorporated elements from our florals and other products from the masseria (spaghetti, soaps, and creams) to create a beautiful tablescape.
Above all else, we and our families genuinely enjoyed Marti’s warm, loving presence. From our first WhatsApp call to our final goodbyes, Marti was not just a planner, but a friend. She took time during every conversation to get to know us, both because it helped elevate the details of the wedding and because she really cared. “Martina is a wonderful event planner. Her company and employees are top notch, easy to work with, flexible, and always put the customer first. We planned our four-day wedding with her in Italy from the United State. Martina helped us plan multiple bus transfers, many meals (from formal dinners to casual lunches to brunches), guided tours, tuk tuk rides, hair and makeup sessions, nail sessions, favors, programs, a dance party, and of course a wine tour! We did zero onsite visits…Martina and her team did all of them and provided us with trustworthy opinions! Everything turned out amazing for the four days of events we hosted for guests coming from the USA. Not only did she do an amazing job with planning she also did the best job during the events. She and her staff also were attentive, solved all the problems calmly without needing us to get involved, and allowed us as the bride and groom to relax. If you hire her and her team she will make sure to set every event up so you get to enjoy your time. For example, we had planned a lunch outside one day, but the weather wasn’t cooperating. Martina had a backup plan with an alternative lunch location and monitored the weather to ensure we could have the best event possible.
