If you love the idea of a wedding by the sea, staying within a wonderful town at the same time, this is definitely your location!

Its origins date back to the siege of Bari in 1071, when the Norman Robert Guiscard built a stone tower (turris petrinea) to guard the port. Buildings such as these generally used foundations on rock and had direct contact with the sea.

The fortress is situated on the Imperatore Augusto seafront and authorized from Bari town hall for civil (legally binding) weddings, that are often celebrated on the top terrace, with amazing view on the sea and on the historical part of Bari city.
